Collection of Haiku

1.

Like grandma’s quilt-
patches of colors on the
hillside.

Smell of toasted leaves
at my backyard-
lingers.

Talking to his self
on his dining table-
squirrel.

Serenade-
cricket performs at
night.

Like crows in the sky-
mourners in
black.

Park bench-
a beggar sit
still.

Lighthouse blinked-
a pinprick in the
darkness.

2.

Four leaf clover
brushed against my boots
woodland charm.

Flowers
in my vase-
huddled crayons.

Smell of soap and starch
white sheets
in the morning breeze.

In ancient temple
a murmur of prayers
lingered.

A dash of rainbow-
wooden carts fiiled with
fruits.
